Run! You Beasts! This is the short film and video compilation DVD we helped Pip make in 2006. R!YB! II is now seeking submissions!

Summer Winds

Summer Winds are putting on monthly shows here from now on. Each night is a smorgasbord of artschool punk and herky-jerky hottness, with hand-picked performers from all over the country and beyond.

Head Muzak

Head Muzak was an interactive installation by Michael Prior that lived at Forepaw in March of this year. You can watch the little video we made and read the artists statement here.

We'd like to remind you all that the monthly drawing spectacular we like to call "Trails" is happening again, tonight, at 6pm, at Forepaw.

My pretties

Just a brief reminder that tomorrow night (Sat'day the 4th of November) we've got Love the Bomb, Bang! Bang! AIDS!, Midnight Caller and Wormwood playing in the shopfront. This will be some Hot Shit. Kicks off 8.30ish, and as further incentive it's FREE, and BYO.

Finally, a big thanks to all you people who rocked up to Trails on Tuesday night. General consensus is that it was the best ever, with a few hardy souls still working the pens and paper beyond 1am! The 4th Trails book will look fucking amazing. Come to Trails #5 on the 28th of November to grab a copy and flex those drawing muscles.

Run! You Beasts! DVD Launch!

Tomorrow we launch the brand new DVD anthology Run!You Beasts!, curated by Pip Stafford with technical and design assistance from the Forepaw workshops. Said DVD includes skronking shortish works by a bunch of local and international film + video people. We've seen it and it's well worth getting your hands on a copy. Be quick though, it's a limited run of only 100, packaged in hand-printed, mouth-kissed, pope-blessed covers and everything! The whole lot will be perjected on the walls at Forepaw, followed by a musical performance from the Forepaw house-band: Kisses BuhBye. See You then.
