In partnership with our donors, nonprofits, and collaborators, we vow to make the Greater Washington region a better place for all residents to live, work, and thrive. In 2018, The Community Foundation refocused its Community Investment strategy on partners and programs that share our mission to Build Thriving Communities — supporting marginalized neighbors to find pathways out of poverty, creating diverse and inclusive spaces to deepen human connection, and preparing workers to succeed in our region’s changing economy.
