Marcus Westbury has spent the last decade initiating and developing some of Australia’s more innovative, unconventional and successful cultural events and projects. In Newcastle Marcus founded and managed the This Is Not Art festival-- an annual event incorporating the National Young Writers Festival, Electrofringe and Sound Summit. Marcus was a director of the Australia Council’s LOUD and Noise media festivals and rebooted Melbourne’s Next Wave Festival as the director in 2004 and 2006. He is currently writing and filming a new series of Not Quite Art for ABC TV and brainstorming some top secret schemes that he will talk about!

Callum Cooper is fulltime film auteur in Australia. His VCA graduating film ’2:41 Upfield’, based on interviews with visually impaired writer Steve Tara, was nominated for Best Animation at the AFI Awards in 2005. Since graduating Callum has applied his knowledge of animation to live action, creating a unique style within the Australia film industry. Recent works have been selected for Hiroshima Animation Festival, Seoul Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival and 3 music-oriented works screened as part of the Melbourne Film Festival. He has just finished directing an experimental film through the support of the Australian Film Commission. His past experimental screen works have been exhibited in the Boston Museum of Contemporary Art, SALA Week and the Sydney Powerhouse Museum.
